- On Monday this week we will wrap up our projects. Look through your blog and make sure you have completed all of the activities and answered all of the questions. You can use this day to finish your 3 out of the 6 optional activities.
- Look at the example blog http://presidentprojectexample.blogspot.com/ and compare your blog to it. Does your blog have all of the required elements and have your answered all of the questions? Also make sure your blog is correctly formatted (you can ask for help if you need some).
- Tuesday we will start our presentations! We will go in order from the first president to the most current. Be prepared to come in front of the class and talk about your president and your blog.
- Information to be included in presentation:
- Go to the blog post titled Life as President and tell the class what you learned about your president's presidency.
- Pick your favorite activity that you completed to share with the class. This activity can be your Google Earth tour, fun facts, president comic strip, letter to the president, if I were president video, president portrait, or campaign poster. Tell the class what you included in your activity and why this was your favorite activity that you completed.
- On Friday we will spend our project work time looking at fellow classmate blogs. Look at 2 of your classmates blogs and write them a letter in Microsoft Word. Tell them 3 things you learned about their president and what your favorite part of their project was. Print 2 copies of each letter and give one to each of the classmates who you wrote the letter to and one of each to your teacher. Question: What was your favorite piece of technology that you learned how to use during this project, why?
Week 4 Goals:
- Wrap up your project by finishing any uncompleted work.
- Present your project to the class!
- Write 2 letters to fellow classmates about their president project blogs.
